Fall 2004 Chairman’s Message
South Carolinians are a conquered people who are continually
attacked by the federal government and their elitist groups. We are hated not so much for what we do as
for who we are and what we believe. Discriminatory
laws apply only to the South (Voting Rights Act, court run school systems,
etc.) and our wages for the same work are more than twenty percent lower than
all others in the United States. We are
not allowed to advance in public and private employment because we are denied
civil rights that are liberally conferred on others. We are in a cultural war for the identity and survival of the
Southern people and we are losing. Our
enemies in the federal government, NAACP, Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC),
Chambers of Commerce, national and international businesses, newspapers, TV’s
and others are attacking us every day.
I don’t know about you, but I am not going to take it any more. I am not going to sit idle and be treated as
a second-class citizen in my own land.
As long as I am your chairman, I resolve to fight through
the political process for a government for all the people of South
Carolina. We will fight by going after
our enemies in every possible way. They will no longer have a free ride, as we
will attack those that attack us and do everything possible to let our citizens
know who our enemies are and what they are doing. It will become known to all,
as former Governor David Beasley is now aware, that in this cultural war for
our very survival, the SCLoS does not forget nor forgive.
The overriding goal of the SCLoS is to become free of the
dominating Yankee Empire so we can have a government based on God’s Laws and a
Biblical world view. We seek state
sovereignty as guaranteed by the 10th Amendment to the United States
Constitution or by secession, if all else fail. Every action we take and every program we implement is designed
to reach that goal. We are leading a
non-violent revolution in cultural regeneration through the political
process. If you are not involved, you
are cannot make a difference.
To be successful, we must build a solid base of resistance
at the county and community level and we must have a professional staff. As we grow in size and influence we will
become a lightning rod for all other like-minded organizations and groups. The SCLoS will be a safe place of refuge
for the disenfranchised of this generation.
We will continue organizing active chapters on the county level until
every community in our country of South Carolina is represented.
We will generate an
independent source of income through Southern Patriot Shops. The shop in Cayce became a reality when
purchased by a 1st South Carolina Ranger who gave us a lease
purchase agreement on 4 November 2004.
It will be opened for business soon after Thanksgiving and we will have
a presence in our capital city that cannot be denied. We will promote the sale of Southern merchandise, advance
Southern culture, and engage in plain old political action through Sovereignty
Caucus Groups. In addition, we will
develop forgotten historical sites such as Secession Hill in Abbeville,
SC. Southern Cultural Centres will be
called upon to promote authors, musicians, artists, and artisans
. We will hold fire-eater
gatherings and entertain, educate and influence the general public.
These are exciting times and the SCLoS is taking the brunt
of attacks from two of the larger newspapers in South Carolina (The Greenville News and The State). These newspapers call the SCLoS a racist hate group by quoting
Morris Dees’s SPLC, even though they know for a fact it is a lie. Leaders of the SCLoS previously met with the
editors of both papers and a packet of information on the SPLC was provided to
them and they were told, when they quote a source known to be false, they are
lying and in a court of law would receive punishment for perjury. They know what they are doing, but truth is
not important to them.
The papers have sacrificed goodwill as talk radio programs,
letters to the editor and weekly newspapers have come to our defense. As a result of “bad publicity” we have
received many phone calls and emails giving us encouragement. New members have been added to our rolls and
the Southern Patriot Shop in Abbeville has filled a number of large volume
sales due to some of the newspaper articles.
The NAACP, through their spokesman state Senator Darrell
Jackson, called the SCLoS the “new clan” on the Columbia based Danny Thomas Show. I was participating in the NAACP protest in
Augusta, GA, when a reporter from the show asked for a live interview to
respond to these charges. I first
described the goals of the SCLoS and continued by saying Darrell Jackson should
know what the clan is since the NAACP is the closest thing to it in 100
years. Then I referred to a prepared
press release and continued by saying. “They engage in extortion of businesses
and continue an illegal secondary boycott of the entire state of South Carolina. They are a despicable group of malcontents
that contribute nothing to society while crying, “Pity me” as they tear down
everything around them. They frighten
weak-kneed politicians, such as scalawag Mayor Bob Young of Augusta into doing
their dirty work while they sit back in a fine hotel room and gloat. That was the end of the interview, as Andy
Thomas needed to have a station break and did not find the time to continue the
discussion with me. I understand another
person on the program commented on the LoS by saying our organization was not
racist and was comprised of a large number of college graduates and PhDs.
Robert Hayes, SCLoS State Director, was on talk radio,
quoted in newspapers and appeared on television while participating in the
NAACP protest in Augusta, GA. I am
aware of four additional SCLoS members on television (one being my 14- year-old
grandson, Jordan Brown) and at least one other was quoted in a newspaper
article. Our enemies now know they will
not be allowed to attack the SCLoS, Southern Culture and Southern people with
immunity. We will call on our Red
Shirts at all appropriate times and expose our enemies in the public
forum.
It seems as though our cause is favored by events that are
happening without our knowledge or input.
The CSA Project and the Christian Exodus fall into this category. Also talk radio and weekly newspapers and
individuals are coming to our aid in places and circumstances beyond our
control or comprehension. With God’s
grace we will put into service the Christian nation of South Carolina.
