Chairman's Message... James E. Layden

The past year, 2006, will be remembered as a good one for the SCLoS. We were engaged in many activities and ventures that will provide long-term benefits. We have developed an organisational structure with a paid staff, a highly motivated cadre, and a solid core of like-minded SCLoS members, 1^st South Carolina Rangers, Red Shirts and friends. We are now ready to begin the final stage of our conquest for a free and autonomous South Carolina. This stage will include all current activities added to a new ventures designed to educate our citizens and to implement state wide political action.

The educational aspect of this program will include the use of all accepted methods of media communication, but it will begin with a number of short audio and video messages that can be e-mailed to anyone within our area of influence. Messages will cover a wide range of subjects, but will concentrate initially on the wealth of information found in books currently displayed in our Southern Patriot Shops. We will introduce authors and others who will provide insight and knowledge to all who will listen.

Political action will take place throughout South Carolina at the city, county and the state levels. We will work to set up Sovereignty Caucus groups and to gain influence in every political arena. This process is long term and we are learning how to play the political game. We will work with anyone who will work with us and will settle for a half loaf if it advances our cause. Political parties will not be allowed to use us and we will retain one aspect of our old strategy of cut and burn. That is, we will not forget nor forgive those who lie or turn against us. Politicians who are influenced by special interest groups will find that we can also motivate constituent special interest groups who will vote. We have already demonstrated that we can provide reward and/or punishment at the polls.

The hard work of organising, building resources and growing in influence has been accomplished. We are now into the fun part of our struggle for independence. You can get more involved at any level of support and be able to see the results of your action. Our rate of success depends on you. God willing, we will be free.
