Palmetto Legion
In Dixie, Winning Is Our Only Option The South Carolina League Of The South Is Leading The Way

Palmetto Legion Project

"... In an attempt to preserve Southern language, speech, manners, music, literature, tradition, thought, custom, and faith we pledge to cooperate economically to build and sustain our separate educational and cultural institutions. We intend regional and local action; pledging blood, TREASURE, and sacred honor."

- Declaration of Southern Cultural Independence
4 March, 2000 Montgomery, Alabama

                        2008 PALMETTO LEGION FUND

The Palmetto Legion fund is the mechanism whereby SCLoS members, 1st South Carolina Ranger, Red Shirts, and friends combine resources to buy the Cayce Southern Patriot Shop.  The Shop is a beacon of light near our capital city and serves as an oasis of knowledge to our posterity.  It also serves as a meeting place for those participating in flaggings, pickets, or protests in the Midlands.  The events are normally covered by the news media and our presence and comments have been carried around the world.  The shop as well as its contents have served as background for interviews shown in Europe and Japan.  The State Newspaper even had two good articles in 2007 about the SCLoS and this is the paper that called us the flat earth society a few years ago.

The Cayce Shop was purchased by a 1st South Carolina Ranger and provided to the SCLoS; under a five year lease purchase agreement on 30 September 2004.  Our Board-of-Directors met on 2 January 2008 and decided to exercise the option to buy at $275,000 on or before 30 September 2009.  All board members are committed to this endeavor and are willing to sacrifice to accomplish the goal.

The Cayce shop was appraised at $284,580 by the City of Cayce for tax purposes in 2003.  In recent years the Cayce shop has skyrocketed in value due to:

            1.  Rapid development of other properties in the area.

            2.  Property in the vicinity is being taken by the South Carolina Highway

                 Department to extend I-77.

            3.  The Cayce Shop is very close to the land purchased for the future home of

                 the South Carolina Farmers Market

A “Broker Opinion of Value”  recently assessed the value of the Cayce Shop at $550,000.  This value is expected to increase substantially in three to five years when I-77 and the Farmers Market are in operation.

We know from experience in Abbeville and Cayce just how much impact a Southern Patriot Shop has on a city.  We will have the manpower and resources to bring on the secession when we are able to operate 20 shops in South Carolina.

This is an opportunity we must not squander.  Will you provide support for this cause?  The Palmetto Legion fund will be used to collect and account for all contributions.  These contributions are not tax deductible as the Cayce shop is a business operated for profit.

We are committed to building an organization capable of challenging the Yankee Empires influence in South Carolina.  We will not be treated as second-class citizens in our own land and we will not allow others to take our birthright without a fight.  We will never forget or forgive turncoats and others in political office who do the Trent Lott crawl, cow tower to Washington and apologies for being Southern.

You are making an important contribution by donating to the Palmetto Legion Fund as described below.
