Happy Fourth of July!

I hear a lot at this time of the year about how lucky we are to live in this country, even with its imperfections, and how it is still the best country in the world. I must say that I fully agree with that statement, but there's probably a little confusion in terms here.

My country is my home, has my complete loyalty and I will defend it with my life. To me it's the greatest country on earth even though it is still occupied illegally by the Yankee empire. The greatest thing that would improve my country would be for it to regain its independence from the criminals that have taken it over by military force.

When the people of the sovereign Southern States declared their independence from an outlaw, out of control central government in 1860-61 they did so legally and in the spirit of 1776. When Lincoln spurned the Constitution and unlawfully invaded those States and forced them against their will back into the "union", he destroyed the principle of union and of government by the consent of the governed and created an empire with colonial subjects. The revolution's noose was cinched when the 14th Amendment was illegally forced upon the states opening Pandora's box of unlimited government power and control.

Even though the government schools have been very effective in re-educating the people into thinking that the U.S. is a "nation," it is still a criminal empire. It is not the union of sovereign States that was created in the 18th century. The current American myth omits the revolution of 1860-65 and simply dismisses that as a great event where slaves were freed from evil Southerners. The passing of time does not make lies the truth or crimes right, and the criminals in charge are not getting better as time goes by.

However, it is now legally - albeit by armed force - the governmental authority in power and I am a subject that will not resist that authority in any way that is not legal, ethical and moral. The Lord and His Apostles are our examples.

The Jews in Israel no doubt thought that they lived in the best country in the world even after the Roman empire conquered them, but I doubt that they ever forgot that they were Jews, not Italians, or ever quit longing for their independence. Even though the Roman rulers allowed them certain autonomy and freedoms, I can't imagine them making obeisance and oaths of fealty to the Roman flag or singing worshipful hymns to the Roman empire, imagining themselves to be a natural part of that foreign nation, and not the subjects of one of its colonies.

This is a time we should mourn the loss of independence that the colonies gained from the tyranny of King George and the British Empire in 1783. It was lost to the tyranny of the Federal Government and the Yankee Empire in the revolution of the 1860s, and the oppression of that tyranny is increasing at an alarming rate.
