FREEDOM UNDER GOD’S LAWS

No one knows what the future holds, but there are always signs showing the probability of catastrophic events. Some people are able to discern conditions leading to political, economic, military or social upheavals. They even try to tell their fellow citizens of coming catastrophes.

The fire-eaters of the south (a term describing anyone whose views were clearly outside the mainstream) tried to tell their contemporaries of the need to secede from the union. Five of the nine most prominent fire-eaters were from South Carolina (Robert Barnwell Rhett – Beaufort; Laurence M. Keitt – St. Matthews; Louis T. Wigfall – near Edgefield; and James D. B. DeBow and William P. Miles – Charleston)

We were warned from the past By Jefferson Davis and by numerous contemporary authors and historians about our current plight and the need to secede now. In his book, The RISE AND FALL OF THE CONFEDERATE GOVERNMENT Vol. II page 763 Jefferson Davis wrote: “ Will it stand? Has the eternal principles of the Declaration of Independence been hid from our sight forever? Or, will they again come forth, ‘redeemed, dis-enthralled, regenerated,’ and rally the reunited people to shout in thunder tones for sovereignty of the people and the unalienable rights of man?” In like manner many of our contemporaries are able to discern the times in which we live and are sounding the alarm. Some of those are South Carolinians or they have adopted South Carolina as there home. A few writers that come to mind are Dr. Clyde Wilson, Dr. David Aiken, Dr. Mark Winchell, Dr. James Kibler, TV Weber, Tomas G. Moore, Brian Cisco and Dr. John Cobin.

We can all see current events and wonder at the long tern consequences that may develop. That is, any president of the United States can now lie under oath without concern, make a preemptive military strike on any country, secretly declare an unlimited number of Americans to be enemy combatants thus removing any legal protection, order the murder of anyone considered to be an enemy of the United States. This list could go on to include such things as federal control of schools, the voting rights act that applies only to Southern states and the violation of the Posse Comitatus Act passed in 1878 (that ended military occupation of Southern states) by sending federal troops into a state without the consent of the governor or the people.

The federal congress no longer represents the states or the people and the federal courts pass laws by decree. The family and Christianity are under attack with high taxes, jobs going to foreign countries, open borders, so called homosexual “marriages”, removal of Ten Commandments from public places, abortions on demand, forbidding prayers at school and at school games or praying in public in the name of Jesus.

There was a time in the not to distance past when people were concerned about the conditions in which there grandchildren would have to live. That time is past; the concern now should be about our children and us. Most SCLoS members, Rangers, Red Shirts and friends of the SCLoS have reached these conclusions. The question is “ What do we do now?” The solution to all these problems is to gain a free and independent nation state of South Carolina. That alternative seems more preferable than staying in a system that will lead to destruction of every thing decent and moral in a godless dictatorship.

Let me propose that we continue doing what we have been doing for the past few years. Influencing our Southern people through Southern Patriot Shops (sale of books, flags, music, etc.), bringing attention to historical events (Secession Hill, burning of Columbia), confronting our news media enemies (newspaper editors, TV managers), conduct public picketing (NAACP, John Deere, David Beasley), make demanding on public officials (Cayce, Abbeville, Lexington, Greenville), and elect or defeat politicians.

Our goals are to secure a free and independent South Carolina and to promote a “Biblical world view” under God’s laws. That translated into “FREEDOM UNDER GOD’S LAWS.” To reach this goal, we need your help to build a professional staff to lead a volunteer army of informed individuals to take back our state through the political process. Voters will be influenced by our political action and the existence of Southern Patriot Shops in various cities. Will you help with your time and treasure?
